Going for a Song!

AN ‘Antiques Roadshow’ visited the Javea Arts Centre when Lorely Griffiths organised the annual ‘arty farty garden party’ in aid of HELP of Denia and Marina Alta in the gardens of her home on Sunday. Exciting finds included a watercolour by Landseer, which is likely to go to a London auction, a collection from the famous studio potter Bernard Leach, some rare 18th Century Chinese porcelain and some fabulous Russian silver.

The Costa Barber Singers were on hand to raise people’s spirits and entertain them with their close harmonies.

A big thank you to all the visitors who helped to raise more than €900 from the event which is being donated to the ‘HELP of Denia and Marina Alta’ charity.
