AN 80-year-old woman was arrested at her home in Poble Sec, Barcelona, for allegedly strangling her husband, aged 81. The victim had Alzheimer’s and is said to have fallen to the floor after the attack, although an autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
However, he had allegedly become senile of late and insulted local residents. He is said to have been a heavy drinker who rarely left the house.
