THERE are 16 free guided nature tours in the Alicante Province this month, organized by the Environmental Department. Some will be in the hills and mountains, others along the beaches and even under the sea.
Anybody aged 16 and older can participate, although those under 18-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
Hikers should carry a backpack and wear comfortable pants, shirt, raincoat, mountain boots, sunscreen, sunglasses and at least 1.5 liters of water.
