A BRITISH schoolboy from Paignton, Devon, has become the country’s youngest iPhone app developer after developing the game ‘Spud Run’. Aaron Bond, 13, learned how to write a smartphone game by watching online tutorials.
The goal of ‘Spud Run’ is to navigate a mutant potato through a maze as far as possible in 40 seconds before it is squashed.
It is now available to download for 59p (€0.67).
His friend Sebastian McNeil, 16, came up with the concept and together they fixed friends computers and managed to save to buy £1,400 (€1,590) of equipment.
Aaron set up his own web company at the age of six and is hailed as a ‘design whizz’ who often helps classmates and parent’s friends with computer problems.
