CUDECA Cancer Care Hospice is about to celebrate its annual Sunflower Campaign with the aim of raising funds and awareness. For the last 19 years, Cudeca has cared for more than 5.800 patients suffering from advanced cancer via the personalised care programmes such as: Home Care visits, In-Patient Unit, Day Care Centre and many other multi-disciplinary activities. All care provided by Cudeca is cost-free.
Dozens of volunteers will take to the streets and offer Sunflowers (symbol of International Palliative Care), in exchange for donations, with the aim of giving life to the days of over 700 patients and their families attended to each year throughout the province of Malaga, thanks to its professional team of doctors, physiologists, nurses and volunteers.
Awareness tables and volunteers will be at popular locations within Malaga capital and Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola, Mijas, Estepona, Torremolinos, Marbella, Benalmadena, etc.
