MALAGA’S prostitutes are demanding that the City Hall complete the preparation of the plot they were promised so they can move there and abide by municipal laws. Malaga City Hall has promised to fix access routes and install bins and better lighting.
The President of the Association for Women, Transsexuals, Transvestites Working in Sex in Spain, Tatiana Garcia, recalled that the city hall promised the preparation would take two weeks and it has been nearly two months.
She also said that the women were getting their clients in the same areas as usual and then taking them to the new plot, which is in the same area of the Guadalhorce Industrial Estate where they currently work. Working there does not breach municipal regulations which make it illegal for them to carry out their activities within 200 metres from schools, homes or businesses.
