Cristina Gálve and Julian De Freitas
Ses Bassetes, a school in Port Andratx with pupils from 3 to 11 years old, made a presentation last week to Julian De Freitas. Mr De Freitas represents an organisation called ‘Schools for Kenya’ (www.schoolsforkenya.com) which has many supporters in the Port Andratx area.
The school’s headmistress Cristina Gálve presented a gift of a book for a Kenyan school which had been made by her pupils. Ses Bassetes has also forged a link with local business, the Bridgeport Restaurant, who have donated funds and equipment to help the pupils create their own vegetable garden.
