A 24-YEAR-OLD man was arrested by police in Almeria for stealing items valued at €16,000 at two houses where his mother worked as a maid. Forty-seven pieces of jewellery were recovered at a pawn shop in Murcia, as well as clocks, cameras and sunglasses found at the detainee’s home.
The police found that the doors and windows had not been forced open at either home, as the detainee took the house keys from his mother and made copies so he could enter. He would previously call the house to make sure there was nobody in.
