Help Vega Baja hospital visits to Torrevieja Hospital.

IN March of this year the Association encountered difficulties with the visits to Torrevieja Hospital that it has been providing since its opening. The problem was due to patients rights and data protection procedures that had recently been reviewed by the Hospital.

HELP VEGA BAJA are pleased to announce that we met with the Director of Torrevieja Hospital to discuss the continuity of the visits made by our visiting team. These visits have been an important part of the services provided by the Association for many years.

The hospital have now offered to let the English speaking patients know about  the “ Help Association ”, the services that they offer and that support can be given if needed.

In future it will be up to the patient to make contact with the HELP Association to request a visit, instead of them visiting regularly three times a week.  If you are going into hospital and would like one of their volunteers to visit you, then please get in touch on the following number so we can make the necessary arrangements.
