U3A Oliva end of year

THE adult learning group U3A Oliva closed its 201/2011 academic year with a showcase of members activities.

U3A Oliva has 30 activity groups encompassing Art to Walking and on show were the Folk, Gospel, Crafts, Poetry, Ballroom dancing, Line dancing and Writers groups. The Ballroom group presented their joint Group Leaders Gill and Howard Rowlands with a floral display in recognition of their hard work sorting out the left feet from the right.

The President announced that, at the May AGM, it was agreed that annual subscriptions would reduce to €7 for the 2011/2012 academic year. If you wish to know more about U3A Oliva details can be found on the website at
