IMED private Hospital in Torrellano (Elche) has received 25,000 employment applications for the 300 vacancies available, hospital sources said. The health center is set to open its doors to the public late October or early November in the Torrellano Business Park.
“Work is progressing rapidly, with the final touches being carried out on the building’s facades,” said IMED group CEO Angel Gomez. The deadline for submitting CV’s is now closed and those short-listed will be interviewed during August.
There are 50 positions for doctors, 85 for nurses, 65 for paramedics, 35 maintenance, cleaning, cooking and cafeteria workers, 60 administrative and receptionist posts and five management jobs up for grabs.
It is still possible to submit one’s CV through an email address incorporated on the Town Hall’s website. These will be considered for future vacancies. The private hospital will boast 140 rooms spread over three floors. The basement will be dedicated to nuclear medicine, delivery and operating rooms.
On the first floor will be the consulting rooms and Intensive Care Unit, while on the top floor will be the wards.
