RESIDENTS in the Marina Baixa and l’Alacanti area who have had their villas or country homes burgled in recent months can view an exhibit of stolen items at Altea’s Guardia Civil barracks from 9am to 1pm until Wednesday 20th July.
More than 200 watches and jewellery, 50 mobile phones, computers, cameras and video-consuls that were stolen in more than 50 burglaries were seized from six homes.
Ten alleged members of the crime gang that burgled the properties were arrested in Altea, Alfaz del Pi, Benidorm and Villajoyosa. Also seized were 10g of cocaine, a precision scale, cutting equipment and more than €9,000 in cash.
