AROUND 200,000 people attended the Benicassim International Festival (FIB) held last Thursday to Sunday.
Some of the well known international bands including The Strokes, Artic Monkeys and Arcade Fire attracted around 50,000 people to each of their concerts.
Attendance figures were similar to the number of people who attended 2009’s festival, the year that sold the most entrance tickets.
More than half the attendees were foreigners, of which a more than 80,000 attendees were from the UK.
