GUARDIA CIVIL arrested a 44-year-old man from Mojacar charged with three robberies.
The investigation began when the Guardia Civil received complaints from a person whose credit card had been used to withdraw €4,200 in several cash machines in the area. However, this person was still in possession of their card.
The investigation led them to a man who had been carrying out maintenance work at the victim’s home. He had allegedly taken copies of the house keys, and entered several times, taking the card and using it before returning it to its place. After he was arrested, it was found he was also involved in a robbery where €50 and a credit card were stolen, as well as another against his former sister-in-law.
