POLICE have arrested 16 people in Spain and another four in the United States in an operation against the largest money laundering network in Europe.
More than €25m in cash was seized in Spain, the largest amount ever confiscated in a single search. For more than 16 hours the National Police searched the home of the leader, a former member of the ‘Los Miami Gang’ who had become a drugs broker.
