A WOMAN, 32, ran off after injuring three children when she lost control of a jet-ski, according to witnesses. She was riding it without the required license, police said.
The offending jet-ski which the culprit and the man who accompanied her abandoned at the scene was impounded by police. The accident occurred at La Araña beach in Malaga when the woman lost control by accelerated instead of braking, according to Local Police.
Witnesses said it was not the first time that afternoon that the same woman had dangerously invaded the swimming area with the vehicle. The three children, aged between five and seven, who had been playing on the sand and sustained minor injuries. The police first located the 36-year-old man who claimed he had got a ride with the woman but didn’t know her.
However, the police found her handbag with him and identified her by the ID she was carrying. She later went to a Local Police station and admitted she had been handling the jet-ski. She had also sustained injuries.
