Demands for golf courses in Almuñecar

BUSINESSES belonging to the Tourism Sector have been insisting on the need for more golf courses in Almuñecar and the Costa Tropical.

This, they believe, would have a great impact on local economy, especially as golfers spend €31 more on average per day than other tourists. The nearest golf course for the area is the 18-hole Playa Granada or Velez-Malaga.

They complain that by contrast the Costa del Sol has a wide choice for golfers.
