Angry customer attempts to kill disco doorman in Sevilla

LOCAL POLICE in Sevilla arrested a 30-year-old man who knocked down a pedestrian after threatening to kill a disco doorman who refused him entrance.

The middle-aged man crashed his car into the front of the disco at high speed, causing damages to urban furnishing and other establishments, after entering a pedestrian area. He had earlier attempted to enter the disco but had been turned away because he was drunk.

He then insulted, threatened to kill and attacked the doorman with a table. The doorman had apparently managed to calm him down and he left. However, he came back with his car and attempted several times to knock down the doorman, who took refuge in the entrance to the disco. In doing so, he knocked down a pedestrian who had to be taken to the Virgen Macarena Hospital, as did the doorman.

The man was later located in his home thanks to the description of witnesses and the remains of his car which were found at the scene. The detainee, who has a criminal record, was charged with attempted manslaughter, causing bodily harm, crimes against road safety and resisting arrest.
