A NEW adult Nile crocodile named Luci has been added to BioParc Fuengirola’s current nest.
Luci weighs approximately 250kg and is three meters long. Like the other crocodiles at the zoo, Luci is 35-years-old and so is still young and expected to grow.
Nile crocodiles can reach six meters in length and live to 100 or more; the oldest known Nile crocodile lived to 115 in a Russian zoo.
