THIS year, 70 people were arrested by Local Police at Malaga Fair.
Twenty-four were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol or without a license.
Thirteen were detained for causing bodily harm, another 10 for attacking officers of the law and three for threatening behaviour. Six were arrested for crimes against public health, six for domestic abuse and one for violating a court order.
Finally, five were arrested for theft and two for aggravated robbery.
Local Police caught 248 people using or carrying drugs in public, identified 4,592 people, searched 8,863 and seized 14 knives, six fake guns and four other weapons.
Eighteen shops were reported for selling alcohol to minors and 12 for allowing them to consume alcohol. Another five were reported for allowing children under 16 on the premises, and one allowed them to take drugs inside.
Seventy-seven were reported for relieving themselves in the street and 23 horse riders were told to leave the fairground for failing to obey safety rules or dress code.
