AN Aeromexico airline pilot was arrested at Madrid-Barajas Airport. Ruben Garcia Garcia was found with 42kg of cocaine during a routine luggage check, according to the Mexican Embassy in Spain.
Aeromexico has suspended the pilot, but said they had not been contacted by Spanish authorities. They “regret this incident” and are “ready to help authorities.”
Three Aeromexico flight attendants were arrested at Barajas Airport last December after they were found with more than 140kg of cocaine in their luggage.
