LOCAL POLICE in Orihuela arrested a man believed to have perpetrated a number of robberies from inside vehicles parked along the local beaches.
After numerous reports that cars were being broken into, surveillance was set up. Officers intercepted the 35-year-old who was in his car by La Glea Beach and had been seen in previous days in La Zenia and Cabo Roig when robberies had taken place.
Items found in his car included car radios, radar detectors, GPS devices, a surveillance camera, mobile phones, pendrives, SD cards, watches, sunglasses perfumes, jewellery and cash in various currencies.
