Free Spanish courses for expats in Villajoyosa and Finestrat.

THERE are new free Spanish courses for foreigners available in Villajoyosa and Finestrat. The course in Villajoyosa is set to take place between Monday September 19 and November 20, subject to demand.

Spanish classes are basic or intermediate level and last 20 sessions spread out over two classes of two hours per week on Mondays and Wednesdays either in the morning or afternoon.

Anybody interested in attending can get more information and pre-register at the European Residents Office on Calle Costera del Mar or by calling 965890892.

“It is a Spanish training course for foreigners to promote the integration of European residents in the town and to broaden their knowledge of Spanish culture” said European Residents Department Councillor Sandra Fernandez.

Meanwhile, Finestrat’s free basic Spanish course will be held at the Culture Centre from Tuesday September 20 until November 29 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 11am.

Entries should be submitted to the Residents of Other Nationalities Department (RON), located on the ground floor of the Town Hall, by today (September 8).
