NEARLY 500 single people are participating in the first European Singles Meet in Alicante.
Initial estimates talked about 2,000 people participating, although numbers could still increase as people attend in later days. The event continues until this Sunday (September 11).
Around 25 per cent of the participants are from other European countries, while 75 per cent come from Spanish Regions including Barcelona, Valencia and the Balearic Islands.
Participants can enjoy various activities from water sports, cultural visits, dinners and theme parties. This event was organized in collaboration between the Town Hall and two tour operators.
