ALMERIA City Hall Tourism Department has decided to celebrate World Tourism Day, next Tuesday (27th September), by allowing free entrance to the city’s main tourist attractions.
There will also be guided tours of the historical centre, the Refugios de Langle, the Cinema Museum and the Tourist Train.
Up to 50 people can joined the tour of Moorish Andalucia which begins at 10.30am, the second, called ‘The Triumph of Christianity’ will be held at 5.30pm for the same amount of people.
Two groups of 30 people can visit the Civil War Refuges from 10.30am to 12.30pm, which two groups of 24 can visit the Cinema Museum, and the tourist train will run four free trips for groups of up to 50 people.

Meanwhile, the Levante Almeriense Association of Municipalities continues to carry out projects to boost the local economy and employment in the tourist sector.
To do so, the association plans to carry out courses for immigrants and projects to promote energy development in small and medium tourism businesses, as well as helping to develop self-employment.
One of the ideas which have been suggested is to create a ‘Tourism Products Club’ which could offer benefits to clients and businesses, while respecting the environment.
