MALAGA Provincial Court has confirmed the sentence against a woman who tricked a disabled girl into giving her a ring last August in Benalmadena.
She convinced the young woman, who is disabled, to give her a ring belonging to her mother and then pawned it for €21, which she spent on a meal in a fast-food restaurant.
The court sentenced her to pay a fine of €160 as well as paying compensation to the victim’s mother for the value of the ring. She was first sentenced by a court in Torremolinos but had appealed.
