THE Cadiz and Ceuta Bishopric has suspended a priest who was sentenced for stealing clothes from a shopping centre in Cadiz City.
The bishopric explained that has been divested of his ministerial licenses, and he will not be able to take confession, hold mass or preach.
They said that they were “concerned” about his behaviour which they referred to as “inappropriate of a priest”. He confessed to having stolen clothes from El Corte Ingles, and has been sentenced to pay €800.
