Gibraltar teenager held for assault

AN 18-year-old was arrested in Gibraltar for allegedly attacking two others with a broken glass bottle during a brawl.
The fight occurred at around 3am on Saturday at a bar in Market Place, but turned nasty when it was taken outside. One of the victims was stabbed in the stomach and the other in the leg, but their injuries were not serious and are recovering.
Identified by local press as Matthew Quiros of Laguna Estate, he was charged with two counts of wounding with intent when he appeared before the Magistrates’ Court.
He is in custody and the case has been adjourned to a later date.
