October lectures for foreigners in Altea

SPANISH (Castillian) and Valencian Languages, basic legislation; the geography and history of Spain, the Valencian Community, and Altea, together with practical information on jobs, housing and health.
These  are some of the topics on offer within the agenda that will run from Monday October 17, and are on offer specifically for foreigners living in Altea. The programme will run until the last day of the month.
This is a volunteer led programme which has been run over the past 18 years by locals with a view to helping foreigners better integrate and understand Spanish society. The lectures are from between 16 to 40 hours over the month, and are free as they are funded by the Dircetorate General of Immigration and the Ministry of Labour.
They will take place in Altea’s Social Centre and those interested in participating are advised to contact the town hall ASAP as the courses are popular and places limited.
