A BRITISH catamaran heading to Spain carrying 300 kilos of cocaine with a street value of €1 million was towed into Cadiz port by police, the Interior Ministry said.
The ship was located 198 miles west of Cape Saint Vincent, where it was boarded and the three crew members arrested.
Two people who organized the drug smuggling operation from land were arrested at the same time near Almeria.
The catamaran is being inspected at the port in Cadiz and police suspect they may find more drugs hidden on board.
