Brothers attacked for looking at bicycle in Gijon

TWO brothers were attacked by four youths in Gijon, northern Spain, allegedly for looking at a bicycle belonging to the attackers.

One was injured and the other was left in a coma after the attack in which no weapons were used. They did not know the youths before the attack, and according to witnesses, the victims were looking at the bike which was chained nearby when the owner and three others came up to them and began to beat them violently.

Just minutes later, Local Police caught the culprits, whose clothes were covered in blood and showed signs of having been involved in a fight.

National Police took over the investigation and a woman who had been placed at the scene was also arrested.
