THE man accused of sexually abusing his two children for five years in Palma faces a 20-year prison sentence. His trial is being held this week.
The 52-year-old allegedly abused his son and daughter – born in 1997 and 2001 respectively – between 2001 and 2006.
As a result both children have psychological problems, says the prosecution.
In addition to the prison sentence the prosecutor has asked that the defendant be forbidden to come near his children for 20-years and should pay €10,000 compensation for each of them.
