WORK is being carried out to repair the oldest clock in Mijas, in the San Sebastian church tower.
It was installed in 1902 at a cost of 2,058 pesetas, the equivalent to €12.36 now, and stopped working two years ago.
The town hall wanted to repair it in order to maintain the tradition of counting in the New Year with this clock.
