RYANAIR has chosen DEBRA España, the national association for ‘Butterfly Children’, as the beneficiary for funds raised from the company’s yearly calendar.
DEBRA España is based in Marbella and cares for children with epidermolisis bullosa, a condition which makes their skin extremely fragile and requires constant care. The organization will receive €100,000 towards their respite home in Marbella from the calendar which Ryanair staff make every year.
Ryanair spokesman, Stephen McNamara, said that this money will give 50 children and their families the “holidays of a lifetime”. DEBRA España manager, Evanina Morcillo, said they were “thrilled that Ryanair had chosen DEBRA”.
The calendar will be available on Ryanair flights, from www.ryanair.com and from www.debra.es at a cost of €10.
