THREE people were arrested and more than 100 kilos of hashish seized in Melilla from people preparing to embark on ferries to Almeria and Motril in Granada.
The drugs were found at the port in the North African enclave of Melilla by Guardia Civil with sniffer dogs, when searching vehicles and passengers which planned to embark on the ferries.
One of the detainees had hidden the drugs in shampoo and shower gel bottles in his luggage, while the others were attempting to smuggle them to Spain in hidden compartments in their vehicles.
