Happy Hamper Appeal Golf Tournament

THE team from English Radio Mallorca held a golf tournament with a difference in aid of the Happy Hamper Appeal for Age Concern Mallorca.

Instead of teeing off at one of Mallorca´s many golf courses, the radio team putted their way round one of the mini golf courses at Golf Fantasia in Palmanova.

Mince pies, mulled wine and Christmas music added to the festive atmosphere and trophies and medals were handed out to the lowest scorers, none of whom were from the ERM team.

Thanks to Nicqui Munoz of Golf Fantasia for helping to organise the event and supporting the appeal. The next (and final) event for the Happy Hamper appeal is a Dinner Dance to be held at Pacha night club in Son Caliu this Saturday.

Ian Pickles will be leading the dancing following a three-course dinner for just €29.

Tickets are available by calling Ian on 606672419. All the items collected this week from the boxes situated across the island will be delivered to Age Concern Mallorca in time for hampers to be made up and distributed to senior citizens in time for Christmas.
