UK regulator says energy price cap could be reviewed every three
THE Marina Alta town of Denia has been chosen by the Valencia Department of the Interior to host the annual Emergency and Public Safety conference later this year.
According to Denia Mayor Ana Kringe this is the first time the conference has been scheduled to take place outside a provincial capital. “We feel extremely honored, especially as the decision was personally made by Regional Minister Serafin Castilian,’ she said.
Meetings have already been organised within the Denia community in preparation for the big event, the first being held at the local police headquarters last week where plans were discussed to present a series of open events to local safety officers, schools, businesses and the general public.
The first‘X1 Emergency,’ will be held on Saturday February 11 at the Denia Esplanade Park, Torrecremade.
Denia Council has pulled out all the stops to ensure that in the case of an emergency, they have a completely coordinated team of specialists ready to go.
Headed up by Mayor Kringe, the meeting included a lrage number of personnel and organisations.
