Spanish Foreign Aid reduced by 22.9 per cent

SPAIN reportedly plans to reduce the amount destined to foreign aid by 22.9 per cent this year, according to NGO Manos Unidas.

Last year, foreign aid to the world’s poorest countries was reduced by 18.8 per cent.

The amount destined to the development of these countries will reportedly amount to €3.3 billion, almost €100 million less than in 2011.
