Fire guts home in Palma de Mallorca

A ‘VIOLENT’ fire gutted the ground floor of a home in Calle Ciutat de Capdepera in Palma de Mallorca on Monday.

The inhabitants were able to escape from the house on foot without any injuries, although cars parked nearby had to be moved to avoid them catching fire.

It took fire-fighters nearly two hours to extinguish the flames.

Meanwhile, there were two other fires that night in Mallorca; one in Calle Bonaire in Palma de Mallorca and the other in Calle Mao in Inca.
