Marbella court staff protest cuts

LEGAL staff in Marbella held a protest to make it known that the Junta de Andalucia is cutting back on staff in Marbella, Fuengirola and Torremolinos courts.

They also claim that they haven’t been paid for the extra-duty hours which they have worked since January.

Jose Ramon Carrasco from the union representing the staff, says he hopes the Junta will go back on its decision to reduce staffing, as many conflictive cases fall into the hands of the Marbella courts.
