Walking Tours return to Torrevieja

WALKING Tours of Torrevieja have returned thanks to a new initiative from ‘Pure Trails’, an adventure Excursion Company who have recently set-up shop in the City.

If you are one of those who has always wondered about some of the buildings you see when travelling around the city but didn’t know who to ask, the new tours are designed to satisfy your curiosity, bestow a little history about the city of salt, culture and places of interest, plus provide you with a couple of hours of exercise.

The tours commence daily at 11am from the ‘Hombre del Mar’ statue and last around two hours. For clubs, association and groups (minimum of six persons) there is a substantial discount on the normal price.

The tours are offered principally to English speakers and are attractive to both residents and visitors alike.

On route you’ll pass by Marina Salinas, the fish market, floating museums, La Plasa, Casino, Old Renfe Station area and the main town square.

It’s a relaxing but educational time and it’s suggested you bring a bottle of water with you for the trip.

If you would like further information of this new project, which is really worthy of support, please contact “Pure Trails” direct: by email: puretrails@gmail.com, on Facebook at ‘Pure Trails’ or call them direct by phone: 637 934 377.
