Mojacar RBL visit Caravaca de la Cruz

THIRTY members and friends of the Mojacar branch of the RBL made the trip to Caravaca de la Cruz which is the Fifth Holy City of Catholic Christianity.

The group took the town train which wound its way through the narrow cobbled streets up to the medieval Castle of Santa Cruz which contains the Fortress Sanctuary of the Santisima y Vera Cruz.

Inside the group looked were able to look around the museum and then to see the famous “Caravaca Cross” which is supposed to contain a splinter from the original cross.
