THE Spanish will spend an average of between €250 and €400 per person in four or five days holiday over Easter.
According to holiday reservation website Rumbo, the favourite destinations this Easter amongst Spanish tourists are Spanish and European Capitals, as well as the Spanish coast.
The favourites in Europe are London, Paris and the Portuguese cities of Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra; meanwhile within Spain, the main city destinations are Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla and Malaga, and the coastal favourites are Alicante, Las Palmas and Mallorca.
Rumbo reports that those who can afford long distance trips are mainly choosing New York, and that many couples are choosing Mediterranean cruises.
