When are they going to learn there’s no money left?

SO, this week the French became responsible for ousting the 11 political austerity victim since the European woes kicked in four years ago.

Yet another wannabee is now free to instill his own ideas as how to ‘rescue’ the minions from the fine mess they’ve gotten themselves into. And how’s he going to do it’.

Well like all true lefties he intends to borrow more money. He will also tax the rich and make sure the poor reap the benefits. Wow that’s progressive, why has no one thought of that before?

Give us a break; these are exactly the recipes that his left wing European cohorts used to cause all the problems in the first place.

If my pet cat stood for office and promised to hand out more dosh to the dissenters, her and the Tom next door would occupy the portals of power overnight.

When are these people going to learn there is no money left?

You simply cannot live ad infinitum on borrowed money. Sooner or later the piper has to be paid.

How true were Maggie Thatcher’s words when she stated that the problem with socialism was that they finally ran out of other people’s money!

The only sure way the woes of the West will be resolved is by its inhabitants working harder for less money.

Frankly, in the gi’me-gi’me cultures of today, I can’t see any politician getting into power advocating policies of that ilk.

So all the wrong people will continue to be elected, until sooner or later the whole system will collapse like a dodgy pack of cards.

If you think things are bad now I don’t think we have even scratched the austerity surface.

If the general populace doesn’t see sense and shoulder some of these responsibilities I prophesy food shortages, certainly fuel shortages, poverty on a level not experienced since the 19th century and rioting in the streets – excluding Germany of course!

Anarchy will prevail and the legacy we have left our young a positive disgrace to our generation.

Scare mongering Leapy?

That’s what was said when I suggested the next world conflict would be against the exponents of extreme Islam.

Funny, I don’t hear those scoffers too much of late.

I await the slings and arrows with trembling trepidation.
