MARBELLA council is spending €270,000 to replenish beaches eroded by sea currents and gales.
The sand used will be brought up from the seabed by dredgers operating off the coast.
A further 30,000 tons, dredged from the La Bajadilla marina to improve boats’ access, will be taken to beaches between La Fontanilla and San Pedro Alcantara.
