A POLICEMAN in Torrox has been reported for allegedly keeping money from a fine.
The Andalucia Police and Firemen’s Union made a formal complain in Torrox Court against the officer, charging him with document falsification and embezzlement.
In December last year, and illegally parked car was moved to the municipal impound and a complaint was filed and processed.
In order to get the vehicle back, the owner must pay at least the price of the tow truck.
However, the officer is accused of tampering with the documents, either in order to return the car without the owner having to pay, or to keep the money himself, as the vehicle was taken away and there is no record of money having been received.
