Benijofar set for natural gas within a year

RESIDENTS in Benijofar should be able to get natural gas piped into their homes within a year.

This has cost Gas Natural nearly €660,000 to construct the 6.3km distribution network to the nearly 250 homes and businesses in the area.

The first roads to get the infrastructure are Calle Antonio Orts, Algorfa and adjacent streets like Juan Carlos I.

This is the second project of 2012 after Los Montesinos got access to natural gas two months ago.

The plan is to offer this service in all municipalities in the Vega Baja.

The next project will be to offer natural gas to residents in Rojales and Guardamar del Segura.
