Blaze near Miraflores

WE were on a weekend break in Miraflores from Sevilla at our friend’s apartment for when on Saturday evening we were having a BBQ on the balcony when we smelt the smoke.

A few minutes later we saw the smoke coming up from behind the apartments in front of our balcony.

Straight after we saw the fire and the whole wasteland of bushes were up in flames.

We called the fire brigade and they had already been informed and were sending someone out.

The firemen came and put it out thankfully without any problems.

We live in Spain in Herrera, Sevilla and we came down to our friend’s apartment for a weekend at the coast, 9 of us came down for a holiday. I’m a nursery nurse in Herrera.
