IT was a sell-out crowd of more than 200 people who supported the Teulada-Moraira Lions at a fundraising Barn Dance and BBQ at Brevis Bar, Moraira.
From the tickets and raffle €1,231 was raised, which will go to local Lion’s charities, much of it to support local families in need.
The ‘Rodeo Stompers’ Line Dancers entertained the crowd with a demonstration of line dancing before inviting everyone to join in the fun, with live music provided by Chloe Hooper’s ‘Cowboys and Cowgirls’.
Nearly everyone dressed up for the occasion, with the prizes for the best Cowboy going to Lion Alan Redstone and joint Cowgirl winners, Miriam Pagán and Cristina Boscá.
The next Teulada-Moraira fundraising event will be a free open air concert starring the Rommy Baker Orchestra playing Glenn Miller style music on Sunday July 8 at 8pm on the Moraira seafront.
