PUPILS of The Julie Bruce Dancing Academy travelled to Mazarron for a three-day dance competition.
Girls and boys aged from five-16 and student teacher Natalie Bruce joined seven other dancing school from all over Spain.
There were 150 dancers who performed in various styles of dance in front of two adjudicators who were flown over from England especially for the competition.
Principal Julie Bruce was very proud of all the pupils who achieved five gold, three silver and three bronze medals and the overall highest mark for the mixed group routine which included all the children.
There were more reasons to celebrate, at a recent examination session numerous pupils gained a fantastic 91 per cent and were praised by the examiner for their hard work and presentation.
The academy is now working towards performing in summer fiestas and yet another examination session at the end of the year. For details of dance or zumba classes contact Julie on 697861071.
